Bang Woo-ri

Биография: Bang Woo-ri (방우리) is a South Korean film director and screenwriter born on June 24, 1983. A graduate of Chung-Ang University, Bang gained critical recognition after winning the Best Short Film Screenplay award at the 35th Blue Dragon Film Awards for her short `Mrs. Young` (2014). She made her feature film directorial debut with the hit Netflix nineties-set coming-of-age romantic drama `20th Century Girl` (2022), which was inspired by her personal youth and high school diary entries.
